  • ? About new cm9 side panel.

Hey guys! Two weeks ago I bought a new kahr cm9. I finally got to get it out this past weekend and put sixty or so rounds of Speer 115 lawman ammo down range. Upon inspection when I got back in the house I noticed that the small side panel screw was missing. I called the factory and haves replacement coming. Does anyone know if this is a frequent thing to happen? Should I put a dab of super glue or lecture on it when I put it back in? Thanks!

I personally wouldn't put super glue on it. Might have to come off someday.

At most maybe a dab of fingernail polish. Chances are it just wasn't tight originally. Be careful and only snug it though, it's metal to tupperware so easy to strip it out.

Is it possible the screw wasn't there in the first place? First I've read of that particular screw coming loose.

That could be it too. I never heard of one falling out either.

I remember seeing it when I got the gun. They assured me that it left the factory with one. Take it for what it's worth though.
