Long first post, sorry
I own a P238 (.380acp) that I bought for CCW. I've decided I want try IDPA with my CCW but IDPA only allow at minimum 9mm. So with this, I've decided a PM9 would fit the bill: It's concealable, I'd consolidate ammo with my Glock 19, and the ammo is cheap.
I would shoot the Glock 19 at IDPA but I would like to be proficient with the firearm that's with me 95% of the time. I think IDPA would be idea for: muscle memory, element of stress, holster draw, speed reloads, etc.
I guess my questions are:
1: Is this a good idea?
2: Does anybody use their PM9 in IDPA?
3: If you use the PM9 in IDPA are they temperamental?
4: If you use the PM9 in IDPA what advice to you have to a newbie
Thanks!
