Is there a fix for the finger pinch I'm experiencing with a Pearce pinky extension. This of course does not happen with the pinky off the gun with a standard flat plate magazine bottom.... I read that some put a rubber "O" ring on the magazine to fill the gap..... It really is painful. The first time I shot with the pinky extension (which I thought would make it more comfortable and accurate) it hurt like heck.

You could try slipping a thin o-ring over the magazine to take up any space between the extension and the grip. I'm not a fan of pinky extensions. You are only supposed to grip the gun with the middle two fingers of the strong hand.Never trust anyone who doesn't trust you to own a gun.

Dave went to Home Depot and bought some O-rings... It makes the MAG slightly harder to install.... and it does not really fill the gap... I am going to bring the box of O-rings back. I think not having the mag able to float a little might cause some issues.... Thanks all for the comments.Originally posted by DavidR View PostThe o-ring worked really well on my CM9 although the magazine follower broke shortly afterwards. Not sure if the two were connected. When I switched from the polymer bases to the flush, steel base, I had to use an O-ring on my mags to stop pinching... bad on my P40! I tried an 1/8" one and it was too fat, but the 3/32" one worked fine.

I don't know what would fit with your finger extensions, though. You don't want too much pressure with an O-ring that's too fat.

I went with #13 O-rings and they are fine, but they make the mag too hard to tap home. I am getting rid of the finger extension. I of late pocket carry and the flat bottom mag plate is more inline with that mode of carry. Thanks everyone for the replies... all good info.
