  • CM9 Holster information request

I have a CM9 I carry with a COOKs holster OWB. I am not fond of this holster, yes it works, but I would rather have leather that is of the same carry style. My CM9 is carried always, right side and outside waist ban. I tired IWB holsters and it just does not work for my type of body.

I have been searching for an OWB leather holster for my cm9 that has a CLIP type attachment, rather than belt loop.

If you know of any please post.

One more thing, I have over 1900 rounds thru my CM9 without one malfunction, it is keeper I can depend upon.

    TIA

I own 2 Cook's holsters and love them. I have clips that attach to your belt on both. If your talking about a closed belt loop, never have seen one with Cook's. Mitch Rosen makes what your looking for, I believe. High Noon is another. There are numerous makers out there who make what your looking for. Most makers can use different attachment hardware. I am looking for a leather holster with a clip for belt attachment, OWB. Checked the two companies you posted, nothing there along the lines I am looking for, but TY for the post.

Here's one (I've no firsthand experience with them): http://www.rymanholsters.com/rugged-...d-holster.html

Have you considered a paddle holster?

          Greg,
Thanks for the link, that is the design I am looking for.
I have looked at paddle holsters, not sure if there none which fit a cm9 or why I did not persue them.

Not sure I'd trust that clip to stay attached...

Paddle was my thought as well. A fairly reasonable one:

I have three or four of the Bianchi/Safariland paddle holsters and am pleased with them. They are inexpensive and functional. I use them for convenience at the range or when hiking, etc. so I'm not sure how practical they'd be for edc or if they make one for the small Kahrs.

I'm waiting on Stoner Holsters for a paddle they are building for my PM9 (they do clips, too). I was looking for someone who did paddles in leather, since I've found the plastic paddles to be uncomfortable for extended wear. The only exception is the Comp-Tac I got for my Glock 26, but that is all kydex.

Thanks for the info, I ordered a Stoner 3-way (has a belt clip). This is the style I have been looking for.

Ok I will, took me long enough to find it, well you were the key lead.

I have the Cook's now, just don't like the hard feel of that holster.

I just received my Stoner paddle holster, which was one of the few all-leather paddle systems out there with a relatively small profile. I couldn't be happier, especially when holstering the PM9. It's a tad looser than I'd like for the MK9, but it's not a deal breaker. The leather paddle is just grippy enough to allow a clean draw, but also doesn't require a wrestling match to take off your waist. And it sits close enough to the body that it won't print, even with just a light shirt covering.

                        Great quality for $75.
