        Outstanding bargain!

One of the finest Kahrs ever made, and that one looks like new.

Yes. I couldn’t find any signs of carrying or abuse. The have a PM9 former range gun that has slowly come down in price to 299.00. It looks horrible though with scratches and no white bar/dot on the sights anymore and then this showed up. No clue why it was priced the way it was.

              Super nice find.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

One of the advantages of the blunt nose PM9s is that you can buy a spring set from Wolff Gunsprings for it. It includes the outer 13 turn spring, an inner spring, and a striker spring for like $9 for the set.

The inner spring doesn't get much abuse, and lasts for several outer spring changes. Kahr recommends changing out the striker spring after 10,000 rounds, and I replace the outer recoil spring every 2,000 rounds.

I replaced the whole assembly with one from Kahr (Type 1) at 5,000 rounds, but Kahr sent it with a 15 turn outer spring - it didn't work until I clipped it back to 13 turns. The slide wouldn't lock back, as the spring wouldn't compress short enough for this to happen. The Wolff set is drop in easy. Avoid the extra power springs from Wolff, as they're for the blunt nose PM40.

Thank you Ed. I was about to start researching the recoil assembly as I figured it would be wise to change out the springs.

                    I like it. It looks.....dastardly.

All my Kahrs are shiny. I might have to get a dark one.
