  • PM9 am liking better than Glock 19

I have 780 rounds through my PM9 and 350 rounds through the G19, the G19 has jammed twice and the PM9 O times.

I really don't care for the Glock trigger after owning 3 Glocks, the double action trigger on the kahr is great, I am more accurate with PM9 also.

    I am considering a P380 for pocket carry and a 45 either a PM45 or P45 or Cw45.

I dare you to go over to GlockTalk and post your message!

Certainly happy to read that you're pleased with your PM9.

Haven't shot my new PM9 yet but should be able to compare it to my Glock 26 afterwards. If nothing else, like you allude to, trigger pull and reset is very different between the two. I can see a person preferring one gun over the other just based on trigger feel alone. Two finger vs. 3 finger grip could make a big difference to many folks. Et., etc., etc.. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

I swore I'd never get rid of my flawless and trusty Glock 26 w/ Night Sights. LOVED that gun. Decided to try a PM9 and it took a lot of range time to be comfortable selling the G26. No regrets.

for you, glad the jPM9 is doing so great. I shoot circles around my PM9 with my G19, no comparison for me that is for sure. But I carry my PM9 24/7.

MichSteve,is that G19 a Generation 4 ? I`ve read of some issues with them.My Gen 3 has been flawless since day one but even so,I like to carry my PM9 more.

lots of things can cause jam, many not the guns fault. Love my kahrs but cetainly can't ever knock the performance of the3 G17 or G19. They are whgat most guns are compared to.

Well, I'll take the bait I guess. My G26 is an absolute tack driver and has never failed in any way. When weather and wardrobe permit, the G26 is the gun I carry... in a Milt Sparks VM2.

I haven't gotten completely comfortable with the PM9 yet as I only have 200 rounds through it. Once I know it's reliable and I have the right holster for it, it will be my goto summer gun.

That was easily corrected with a recoil spring change. Mine however worked just fine before and after said change. (guess I was lucky)

The G19 is a Gen 4 and the #3 spring is in it, I will order a #4 and try it.

I would give Glock a call first and tell them the problems you are having. They should send you one for free. Worth a shot!
