  • Another PM9 report

Purchased a PM9 in September '10. No prep just took it from the box and ran 200+ rnds thru it with ZERO malfunctions. Now at 2600+ rnds it has started to looosen up and runs smooother than ever. Thing is it still has ZERO malfunctions of any kind. Even with the dreaded 7 rnd mag.( I have two ).

    Truly a boring pistol.

I feel the same about my PM9, ... nice to be boring though..
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

I've only got 300 through mine. No drama here.

Man. I may have to get one of those as a companion for my PM40. You PM9 owners do seem to be a happy bunch.

No malfunctions makes range trips seem short. You burn through a lot of ammo that way too. That's why I wish I had my Kel Tec PF9 back.

Kel Tecs make ammo last much longer and improve your troubleshooting skills too.

You got that right! I put 175 rounds through my new PM9 on Saturday, and I spent more time loading magazines (4) than I did shooting.

P.S. Now a T9 is in my sights!

There is simply no way you're going to build character with guns like your PM9.

I have to agree with everyone else on the PM9. I've got 200+ rounds through mine. Does make ammo go quick. I thought it loosened up since out of the box, I guess it just keep getting better. I love my PM9. better than my M&P9c. Don't get me wrong I do love my M&P9c but the PM9 is more better. LoL

Have about 3,080 through mine. Mine has NOT been "flawless." But I have not had a lot of issues, and I have not had any issues in hundreds of rounds ago. I think I had a slide lock back on a loaded magazine. But that was about 400 rounds ago. I have the crimson trace LG437 on mine and love it. Keep your recoil springs changed out, and it will be good to go.

when one has IMO an issue of a ftf or slide locking ope nprematurely once in 500 rounds, one can normally put that in the shooter error category. If u have a round out of spec that cause a ftf or premature slide lock, even though it is a no banger, it is also not the guns fault either. If a slide lock it out of spec then it should reproduce the issues time and time again, not normally once in 500 rounds. One round out of 200 can be out of spec and cause an issue and we might blame the gun when indeed it is not. Seems if you buy good ammo, you get what you pay for also. Things outside of the guns realm can cause issues but we ultimately blame the gun for it.
