Another CM9 from the range with pictures for reference.

Well… I’m glad to say that I’ve shot my brand new CM9 and put the 200 rds of ball ammo recommended by Kahr. I went twice to the range. Last Wed. Apr 27, 2011 I shot the first 100 rds. Everything went the way it should be, without a hitch!!! I only had 1 mag, the only one that came with the handgun. Since I was planning to go again to the range I decided not to clean the CM9 since I had prep and cleaned the gun previous to the range trip following the advice given by Kahr’s web page and here. (Same procedure that I had followed with my CW45 before).

The little pistol felt really good and my groupings were fairly decent shooting at the pistol range the usual 7 yrds standing with my two hands.

This past Sunday I went for the second time to the range. This time I have 3 mags, I got 2 more mags marked MK KAHR (6 rds) that look identical to the mag that came with the CM9 marked “9-6 KAHR”. As before I had FC, WWB, MSF to shoot. I shoot standing about 9 yds from the targets. At first I shot for accuracy and later switched to rapid fire and double taps. I did use all 3 mags and they worked fine. I had no problems chambering, feeding, and early locking or mags dropping off. The little CM9 performed perfectly.

Now, I’m planning to put 250 to 300 more rounds through it and then it’ll be ready for CCW.

Excellent. I don't think I've heard a bad report yet on these CM's.

I'd say your well on your way to having a carry keeper.

Wow, thats good. I get the feeling, from reading posts here on Kahrtalk, that the CM9 is hitting the street with less issues than the PM9. Just my imagination or something to do with the numbers being sold one vs. the other?

well u might be right, but lately we have no issues really in the jpM9 anymore, so they should have all the bugs out of them, now only the glitchs could be left but I don't see any real bugs. I havent seen one negative on teh cm9 and I have been trolling around other forums to.

Isn't the CM9 just an uglier PM9 with a different barrel anyway? Aside from upper differences, is the lower the same as the PM9?

                    Yes! So far so good!

I have to say that the little CM9 really feels good in my hands and is very controlable with either one hand, even when the pinky is 'hanging.'

Here...few pic's of the new member of the family

                            Then, lets continue

Just more pics for reference to those who have the CM9 and for the others to know what are they are missing... eh jocko!!

On the second pic the rear of slide and frame don't 'meet' as tight as they do in my CW45, but the slide is very tight and it's working just fine.
