  • Superfly vs. the 'wallet' holster on the Kahr website?

I've got a new PM9 on the way and need to settle on a pocket holster. It probably won't be the last I buy, but I'd like to try to get it right on the first try. Right now the options I'm looking at are the DeSantis Superfly and the "wallet" holster off the Kahr website, here:

Ambidextrous Pocket Holster, (MK & PM Series)

There's also a very nicely done piece at pocketholsters.com that's is kinda-sorta the same design as the Kahr holster, but perhaps a notch better (in materials, anyway)

    Kahr Arms Pocket/Wallet Holster

I spend most days wearing pleated semi-casuals with generous pockets. I'm not concerned about tight jeans.

I have a drawer full of "leather" pocket holsters tha tI never use (left handed) and I just keep coming back allthe time to my desantis nemesis for my PM9 to ride in my front pocket. It covers the trigger guard perfectly and conforms to the curviture of my body instantly and oh yes under $20 to..
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

      Grabbrass,

I have DeSantis Superfly Pocket Holster for my PM9 and use it occasionally with my pleated dockers, I find that it fits the pockets and holds the gun well and in a easy to grasp orientation. My main carry holster is a Crossbreed Minituck worn at the 4;30 to 5: o'clock position it is very comfortable and allows me to tuck my shirt in, which is important to me as I always wear my shirts tucked. My other holster CCW holster that I use when I really do not want any sign that I am carrying is a Bellyband, I wear it low on the hips with the PM9 lined up with the zipper on in the front and even my family cannot tell that I am armed. I do not think there is any one holster that will be right for every occasion and is the reason I have several and each works well in certain conditions but not in others.

Take a look at the FIST Kydex #5. I had an Uncle Mike's and bought the kydex sold on teh Kahr site. The FIST was the lightest, most comfortable and easiest to draw from the pocket. Recommend you take a look at the FIST.

I have a Galco pocket holster on order.

Until then I have the Kahr Arms PM9/PM40 Convertible Pocket/Wallet Holster mentioned in the original post.

I carry it without the big flap in my front pocket. Unfortunately it has an open end (at the muzzle) which lets pocket lint/whatever into the barrel. So I added a strip of duct tape covering the open end. All is good.

Good question and I'm in the same boat. Kinda leaning toward the nemesis.
I currently carry in a Comptac ProUndercover IWB.

I went the non leather type for pocket carry. Doesn't obsorb moisture. Mine came from CCWSUPPLY>BIZ, Phil Smith, seems to be working fine as far as pocket carry goes. BTW its a PM-40W/CT laser. Looking to move to PM-45 for pocket backup.

+1 on the desantis. I have a one for a PM9 and one for a P380. Relatively inexpensive and they just work,

i have the pocketholsters.com holster. it's excellent and well-made. you can use it rear pocket, front pocket, or even IWB if you attach one of the CTAC style clips to it. it's quite versatile. I had a custom made holster though, so it's sort of just sitting, i may decide to sell it soon.
I had a friend with a trophy wife, but apparently it wasn't first place.

Take a look at the Recluse pocket holster. It is the easiest to draw from and very secure
