  • CM9 IWB Holsters...

Sorry if this is the wrong section. I purchased a CM9 yesterday and am looking for some IWB holster options. I like the Don Humes on Kahrs site but can't get anyone to answer the phone when I call to ask them about it. I am a lefty so I like to make sure I am ordering the right thing. Also, where is a good place to get mags for a good price?

    Thanks in advance!

Just an FYI on the Don Hume holsters...I heard Don Hume is backlogged a couple of months on them. They are nice holsters though. Real small.

also sometimes its faster to get a response by sending Kahr an email

try sending your question(s) to sales@kahr.com

I tried to order a Don Hume, and like MLES said, backordered. I think they told me they are about 8 weeks out.

Have you looked at the Silent Thunder? http://giholsters.com

I called Don Humes bc they are in the same state as me, and they are back ordered 4 months. I just saw the one in Kahr's site and thought they may have them in stock.

I carry mine in a Don Hume IWB for a Glock 26. After a few days of carrying it, the holster fitted to the CM9. Just a thought if you happen to find one hanging on a shelf. The silent thunder holsters look nice though.

            Welcome to the forum!

Kahr has a carefully thought out collection of holsters on their website. I'm a lefty, too, and I find it very impressive that they list the left handed models of about every holster they carry. The prices are the same or better than the makers, and they have a lot of stock, even left handed ones, on hand. This is a real advantage when the maker has a several week long lead time.

I recently purchased a premier holster from a guy who is also a forum member: jlaudio29 on here, James Dean Cottom, email is jimmyvegas29@gmail.com (his website isn't operational, yet). His turnaround time is about 2 weeks. And he won't accept payment until the holster is finished and ready to ship. The holster I got is PERFECTAMUNDO for my CM9! It is absolutely a work of art, done in the finest Herman Oak Leather. Comparable holsters cost twice the $75 (shipped) that he charged me. Here it is...

You won't find a better holster anywhere near the price!

My other favorite holster, light as a feather and small as it can be so it and the gun disappear from your consciousness when wearing it, and only $40 (shipped) is the PJ Clip On Belt Loop Kydex IWB. Coach Paul, who makes these holsters, is a great guy, too, and will go the extra mile to satisfy you. His turnaround is about 2 weeks, too, I believe.....

Enjoy your gun, and the accessorizing which is so much fun!

            Very interesting...

It'll fit, but there will be extra length beyond the muzzle. The PJ Kydex holster I mentioned fits my CM9 with not an extra millimeter in any direction. Easy on and off with the over-the-belt Kydex clip, secure with adjustable click-in, click-out retention, and it is the only holster I have that makes my CM9 vanish from my consciousness when wearing it! I don't feel the weight (or mass) of the gun there at all, even when moving around; it sort of becomes part of my body. One might expect this level of comfort with a P380 or LCP, but it is exceptional with a loaded CM9 weighing over 20 oz. I believe you will find this is all you need for belt carry. I got the leather one because it was an absolute work of art at a fantastic price, and I'm very pleased with my "dress up" holster. But for practical, everyday, all day long carry, the PJ holster can't be beat.
                              Very interesting...
