. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

My CM9 trigger pull appears the same as your video.

Mine is at the exact some place. I never really paid attention to where it broke at. I tried all the different firearms in this class at the time I purchased my CM9 and I feel that it has the best trigger pull and break. The others were long with a hesitant break to where you had to use the very tip of your finger or reposition your finger as you pulled the trigger.

I own a new one CM9 that I am breaking in. I just dry fired mine and it looks similar. Looks ok to me for a DAO in a defensive semi-auto with no safety, esp. if used for concealed carry . Makers tend to have the trigger emulate a revolver. It has a lot less of a pull distance and is smoother than many equivalent models by other brands. I traded a KelTec to get my Kahr, and the KTec had a pull all the way to the rear and was ratchety by comparison.

Both my PM9 and CW40 release a the very end of the pull. Since neither has ever failed to fire for any reason, I'm not going to worry about it.

kahr trigger system are so damnsmooth, one can't really tell when it breaks. unlike my G19 I can feel that final set beforethe bang thing happens. With the kahr trigger why worry aobut where it finally makes the bang thing, you can't do anything to shorten it. it is a 3/8trigger travel, by design. Probaby one of the things that draws people to kahr and keeps them there is the outstanding trigger. This ain't no target gun folks, it is a defense gun, that will shoot better than the hand holding it. I see on this forum quite a few who do shoot great with it but most I am going to say are average with it, unlike shooting a single action 1911 style or something with a real short trigger travel..:7:

I think that's part of the issue, I was expecting a "smoother" 442 trigger. Instead I got something better

u will adapt to it, if u can shoot a double action revolver, u will be Ok with the kahr trigger system. I see ur kinda new here but I have posted since this forum started and I have stated in my case I do not shoot my PM9 good as I think I should, after 32K rounds down range from it. I just don't do good with that long trigger system, but I accept that to. I can hit very goodat 7 yards and under where I do most all of my practicing etc, at my age 67+ Iam getting to old to run, so I am just gonna shoot thge BG and be done with it. That is why I bought my PM9, it is my 24/7 carry peace and I trust it completely. I don't condemn the trigger system for I knew what it was and how it worked before I bought it. It is so so smooth tha tif u think ur gonna stage a kahr trigger ur never gonna shoot good with it . a straight constant pull is what is needed and in my case I just never mastered that. I think I have but when I put some snap caps in with my live rounds and then load the magazine not knowing where or how many caps are in it, wow does that ever tell me how bacd I anticipate that "bang" thing. Trust me snap caps in with 30 live rounds and letting another person load the magazine for you will show your ill ways with a long double action trigger...

Just stick with it and u will certainly improve. How much is an individual thing as u well know..The main thing about a good defense semi is to know every damn quirk that gun might give u. know h0ow to clear, tap/rack/bang thing is a good drill. It is also fun to..

Yep, that's normal... my PM9 and MK9 break at the same spot.

The gun came in yesterday and I stopped by my FFL's to fill out the paperwork. (WI has a 48 hour waiting period on all handguns, so I don't have it home yet...) I checked the gun out and dry fired it a few times.

I noticed that the trigger does not break until the trigger is touching the rear of the trigger guard (IE is pulled ALL the way back). I don't seem to recall the CM9 that I checked out at Gander Mountain having the same issue-

Just one question Kayl, when Gander mountain goes out of business, because you didn't buy from them where will you go to preview your on line purchases?

                        Cabelas...

If you pay Gander Mountain prices for all your guns, I feel sorry for you. I'll buy from Gander Mountain, but their pricing has to be somewhat competitive. Same for a LGS. Don't price a gun $150 over what it should be and expect me to buy it. I've bought from Gander before and likely will again, depending on prices.
