  • PM45...Mags

I have read Bawana's experiences with the Wilson mags..I have not had the same success! I have though been able to grind/dremel/file the top side of the locking latch hole on Gov't 1911/11a1's with success, even complete to slide locking back on last round. I like having a seven round back-up mag.
Pretty simple mod. Grind/file the top side of the notch a little at a time. Trying the lock-up in PM45 until the lock-up works ALL the time. This does nothing to hamper its use in 1911s
If you try to fail, and succeed, which have you done?

When the Government is wrong, it's dangerous to be right!

Be who you are and say what you feel... because those that matter ... don't mind .
.. and those that mind ... don't matter!

Your release must be a tad lower than mine. All my Wilson mags will lock it and run. The 8 rounders will lock on empty consistently, the Officer ACP mags will run but don't lock back on empty. I'm still clueless as to why that is.
But they all do lock into the gun with no modification.

Once you got yours locked end you didn't have to do anything on top to work right?
