New 7 Round Free Mag CHANGED BASE

Good news, I just recieved my free 7 round mag for my CM9 and they have a new base plate that covers the bottom of the mag 100% (except the very back which is the stainless mag material), it is all black to match the grip and looks great when installed into the pistol. It looks really good. I will take it to the range this afternoon to see how it runs. I had an idea they were going to make some changes. Thanks Kahr!

ys, I received mine TODAY and it has the new base-plate/grip extension that looks like it belongs with the gun, and not with some other.

I wonder if Kahr will sell that bottom piece. The 7-rounders pinch my fingers when I use them because of that awful original base plate.

Oh well, take what you can get, I'm not impressed.

Too bad they didn't follow ol'coot's lead and fill in that step created on the back end of the mag base...would have been a much better grip surface om the PM9 mag.

Range report with the new floor plate 7 round mag.

50 rounds down range flawlessly. No failures of any king using Berrys 115 gr reloads and Banres 115 gr LE/ all copper HP reloads. It worked perfectly from my CM9. However the CM9 has been running flawlessly after break in. Now has about 300 rounds fired.
