  • T9 Holsters

Well I ordered my Milt Sparks holsters yesterday. Today they called me back and informed me they don't make anything for the T9. :-(

I went ahead and ordered one for a K9 as I suspect I'll end up with one eventually (prob by the time I get the holster)

So I started to look around and a lot of folks like the MTAC's, but no T9 model. The only holster maker I've found is Kramer (who makes an excellent holster) and I'm leaning towards a IWB version of theirs but I wanted to see if you all had any other options you really like. I'm after the thinnest one I can get.

Here is what Kahr has found for the T9:

    Very interesting...

I use this vey nice Mitch Rosen Premier, marked for a K9, but after massaging the muzzle opening the longer T9 fits perfectly. This holster fits well, carries easily, draws fast and is easy on and off. One of my favorites.
Judging by today's left wing, looks like Senator Joe McCarthy was right after all.

I ordered a crossbreed as a lot of folks seem to like them. It looks funky but I'll give it a try. Sounds like I may be able to massage the milt sparks to accept the T9 as well.

You might compare notes with Jeepster. I seem to recall that he found that his T40 fits well in some 1911 holsters.

Of course if you don't have a 1911 or holsters for same this is a total waste of keyboard time other than keeping the rumatise at bay in the finger joints.

You might stumble onto a 1911 rig that would work good for ya though.

Im not certain the 1911 would work for the T9, possibly. I got the crossbreed, it is actually a very nice rig. It does need a little break in but it's nice now.

I already had a Galco Stow-N-Go before I got my T9 -- it works but it isn't my favorite holster since the clip is a flimsy plastic.

I ordered the Galco M7X holster when I got the T9. It works well. It's plastic, also, but it's a heavy plastic and I'm not worried that it's going to snap in two.

My favorite holster for the T9 is my N8^2 (Nate Squared) Tactical holster. It's awesome for wearing on the 6 o'clock, especially in hot weather.

                  The N82 does look interesting...
