  • T40 has a little brother

I should probably stay off the GB site for the rest of the year. Saw this little puppy waiting for a new home. So now my T40 has a new little brother in the way of a T9!
Looks like the sights have been changed to XS. Wonder how I will like that. I prefer the standard sights in Kahr line, but we will see how this works out.

        That's nice. Enjoy!
Judging by today's left wing, looks like Senator Joe McCarthy was right after all.

Great, I like to buy a knife now and then. I have a few Randalls and some old Marbles. All fixed blade knifes for me.

I don't have any but I always look for Marbles. Wrong side of the track for Randall's all together.
A year or so ago there was a guy at the gun show with a table full of Randall's. He let me hold most of them. Darn nice knives. Way way out of my league.

Bawanna, as you know if you held a Randall it is a quality knife. Just look at the fine detail, makes you think you are looking at jewelry almost. And yes they are about as expensive as jewelry too. Since it is my own post I will sidetrack it a little with some knife photos.

Well we generally frown on side tracking threads around here but I suppose we can allow it just this once.

That stag handled Randall and that second from the top Marble absolutely sing to me. That's more than a few you got there. That's a 401K right there.

I do have a thing for stag, oh and wide spur hammers but we don't need to go there.

The stag handled Marble is a Woodcraft model from the 1920s. It is the only stag Marble I have and I am pretty fond of it.
The Randall you refered to is a Model 27 and is a pretty large knife 6.5" blade I think. But since you like stag knives , my favorite Randall is the one below. A 25-5 model. A sweet knife. Glad you like them. Enjoy!

Just picked up my T9 today. I think I will like the big dot front sight. Very nice condition still in the plastic oily bag like new. What you see on the slide and frame is oil Great looking wood on it too. On the down side it doesn't have any paperwork or box. Oh well as hard as they are to find in 9mm, I wasn't going to pass it up. Very pleased with the purchase and will give it a work out this weekend.

I was gonna swap him the Randall for it but then I remembered it's his Randall to start with, I got nothing to swap.

                              Damn.
