Just seen it - looks great - what an amazing price!! - How in the world is it less than half the price of the P380?
However, I must say that my P380 is more than 1/2 inch shorter and about 1/2 inch less in height, so it hides easily in all my sunny California clothing. (need to be ready to meet the "wolf" Bawanna mentioned)
The 1 1/2 oz extra weight of the CT did not feel like much - a slight extra droop of the shirt pocket during my "weight test" (no, I don't carry my P380 in my shirt pocket, even though it is close to my heart).
Tell us more about the feel, quality and performance at the range.

This new model comes as quite a surprise. I'm really interested in hearing how they perform right out of the box. I can see myself adding one of these to my ammo testing kit.Owner of and sole contributor to the Pocket Guns and Gear blog. http://mousegunaddict.blogspot.com

Hey Wynn, do you know for sure that the MagGuts kit will work in the longer magazine tube?Originally posted by wyntrout View PostThe CT380 would have the MagGuts conversion to 8-round mags and be for Wifey.

Hi, Bruce. Keep up your good work!
I think that MagGuts makes a 7-round .380 +1 kit for the Kahr .380's and that should work with the new magazine. I don't know if there's a difference in the tube length for the new 7-round metal-based Ct-380 mags and the extended-grip 7-round mags for the P/CW380's. I put metal bases on all of the mags for my 9mm/.40 S&W mags for concealed carry... flusher than the polymer-based "flush-fitting" mags. I prefer a shorter grip to using the "pinkie rest" bases.
I've switched from PM to P models for my CCW, my favorite two carries being the P40 and then the P9. I do carry the "hi-capacity" Kahr mags for reloads in an OWB carrier, opposite side.

Hey Wynn. I have some MagGuts kits for the 6 round P380 magazines here at the house that I will be reviewing for on the blog. Total brain fart on my part that they also make a kit for the 7 round magazine. I guess it would make sense for me to review both at the same time. One more good reason to buy a CT380.Owner of and sole contributor to the Pocket Guns and Gear blog. http://mousegunaddict.blogspot.com

I would prefer a real P-type CT-380 with all of the premium features and THREE mags! But, I guess that's not happening. The P380 is actually more of a PM380.

I keep holding out for a MK/K380
But I feel like I am in the same boat as you..... It would be nice though, and I agree, the P380 is more of a PM380 now...

I got mine out last week. I put 50 rounds of Reminton fmj, 50 rounds of Herter's fmj and 25 rounds of Fiochi jhp downrange without a malfunction. The sights are much better than those on the CW380 I used to own. The longer grip makes it very easy to shoot. It is actually smaller and easier to conceal than I thought it would be.

Finally ordered mine on Monday. Also ordered a pair of spare mags from Exile. Mags arrived today, but no shipping confirmation on the pistol yet.Owner of and sole contributor to the Pocket Guns and Gear blog. http://mousegunaddict.blogspot.com
