I've nothing against Glock but that quarter inch difference in thickness goes a long way. Also, full length grip on the CT.

I had a 30SF. It was an early production gun and had the failure to return to battery issue that plagued quite a few of them. I was able to work past that, but just never warmed up to that wide slide. I bought my first Kahr, a CW45, to replace it.
Here's kind of a roundabout size comparison:

FWIW, I'd probably give the new 30s (narrower slide) if Glock would change that crappy (IMO) finish they are using on their pistols of late.

The 30s slide is nicer in my opinion along with the sf frame. The glock trigger is still not as smooth as the kahr though. I got the 30s to replace another gun because it was high cap, had the sf frame, and would take the 13 round g21 mags.

And you are right about the finish.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Wouldn't the Glock 36 be a better comparison to the ct45 than the G30?
The 36 is 6+1 and is 1.10" wide.

I had a G36 for a while, but I also had a Ruger P345 that was only a tiny bit larger and held two more rounds. That was a dumb idea on my part, but at least I learned I didn't love Gloques. Heck, even the CW45 is a better comparison to the G36, round-wise. Do the magazine mod, and the Kahr holds more. The G36 has no magazine options (not when I had mine, anyway).

                The CW45 is sweet.
