  • New TP45

I pick it up tomorrow. Will post pics and range report as soon as I can. I'm really geeked about having a .45 again.

"And they didst chamber it for cartridges who's calibers startith with numbers less than the Holy Number 4. And lo the Lord did cause great grief amongst these men when their enemies who were struck in battle with these lesser numbers didst not fall but did continue to cause great harm."

Ok, now, funny guy. Can you give me a chapter and verse as to where to find a decent (not expensive) leather IWB holster for it? I think that I've painted myself into a corner again. Thanks.

I've been considering getting a TP45 myself. I'll watch here for your report.

Other posters have reported that 1911 holsters will also hold the TP45. Maybe try a few in a local store that will allow you to bring your Kahr into the shop.

The Mitch Rosen holster on the Kahr site is a good one too.
Judging by today's left wing, looks like Senator Joe McCarthy was right after all.

Well, as stated on Sunday, I picked it up as soon as the shop opened yesterday and took it to the range this morning. I put 170 rounds Remington & UMC through it without a hiccup. It shoots nice and straight. There was only a hint of the black remaining by the time I was done. It took a little bit of a learning curve to get used to the Novak night sites shooting in a well lit range. It is definitely a keeper and will be added into the carry rotation when the IWB holster that I ordered for it from The Holster Store arrives. I am, however, thankful that I ordered a Pachmayr grip sleeve last night. The texture of the backstrap caused quite a blister in the web of my palm which eventually broke.

          Here are a few pics:

I completed the balance of the two hundred round break-in today. I experienced zero ZERO malfunctions. I got an IWB holster from The Holster Store and am now carrying it daily. :80:

It carries very well for me. I picked up a Pro Carry IWB from The Holster Store for it. The grip sticks out just a bit but with sweatshirts, jackets, or sweaters it's no problem at all. It's a little lighter than my FNP-9.

A 45 is definitely my next Kahr. Just have to decide which one...
