A BOLT ACTION .410?? A bolt action .22 yes. Autos can shoot more than one time too quickly.

I think my daughter was about 5 when I helped her shoot a 6" .357 loaded with .38's. I wanted her to know what a REAL gun was like... weight, recoil, and noise... get rid of any curiosity and temptation to explore when adults weren't around. I kept it from hurting her, but she found that it was not a toy. That was on a range with proper hearing protection. My first wife and our son and daughter liked to go to the range and shoot.

What did the necco wafer ever do to you, eh? Couldn't you find some paper or something, those neccos are tasty!

LOL! My son and I sometimes blast soda bottles filled with water... kinda tough tho when you can not see the bottle explode yourself due to the cloud of smoke... First time he did it he turned to me and asked I know I hit it, I did see the bottle top flyin but I couldn't see the bottle.. Then when I shot a bottle, he said, "THAT was awesome, one second the bottle is just sitting there the next it is turned into a cloud of water".

We shot some rotten 'maters once. Tried a 40 grain hollow point and a 60 grain solid.. We thought the solid would do more damage than it did after the hollow point turned the mater into salsa but the solid just made a pretty hole. Honestly we didn't think the mater had enough substance/size to cause the hollow point to expand.
