  • My new favorite carry gun....

    As you all know, I love my Para's. HOWEVER my new favorite carry piece has become my Kahr MK40, XS Sights and Magnaported, SWEET SHOOTER. I love this gun it shoots FANTASTIC and feels good.

        I really ike what u did for the finish of ur MK40, that is so so cool.
        . My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

                What do you think of the Mag Na Porting. I hope you like it my MK40 is currently with them. Did you also have them polish and jewel the barrel?
                Anything good or bad about porting? It would be nice to hear from someone with the same gun thats actually has experience with Mag Na Porting. I like your gun...

                    Magnaporting makes it shoot fantastic. I had Ahlman's jewel the barrell and install the XS Bigdots. Nothing bad to say about the porting, all positive.

                      What's the life expectancy of the jeweling, I read it's toast in 800 rounds or so?

                        jeepster you have probaly answerd this many times but i cannot find the post. are all of your finishes duracoat. and how does it hold up. i coated 2 P3ats with llaur several years ago and they came out great but i never carried them so i donot know how it will hold up. i have flat black in stock now to do pm9 slide but am cocerned about finish wear please advise thanks jeff if you dont mine me borrowing the MK for a month or so i could test the finish for you. i would not expect you to furnish gun and ammo

                              I am unsure overall. It will show some wear in the wear points, but in the non contact areas it holds up. The original purpose was supposed to be it retains some lube to increase life according to gunsmith....
