. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

Good for you kahrfan12. Now you got a whole bunch of us on pins and needles waiting right along with you.

There's some links to manuals, parts sheets, the proper prep thread and proper lube thread in the tech section to occupy your time while you pace the floor and wait for the call.

I feel your pain as many of us have. Don't count the first day and don't count the last day and the time might just go by a little faster.

              Welcome to KahrTalk.

Why the PM9 over the CM9? Have a PM9 myself but lately it seems just about everyone is jumping on the CM9.

                  Hi Bill K
I chose the pm9 over the cm based on features and reviews.
I know the pm is substantially more money, but for my first pistol I really just wanted the small concealable size as well as reliability. The extra cost for the pm definitely hurts the wallet, but I figured, do it once and do it right!!
Thanks for the tips and welcome
I can't wait to let you all know how it is at the range!

Ok, so in my reading and reviews, everything says 2-300 round "break-in"
How true is that statement? I already picked up 300 rounds of federal 115 g fmj rn
Probably not the best ammo, but it was only $10 for 50 rounds so I figured it was good for break in.
                            Thoughts?

That ammo should work just fine. Don't forget to work the slide a few hundred times on the EMPTY gun or until your hand is raw! It will really help it operate better, wearing parts in.
