Keep dreaming, muggsy. Cleveland could use just about any other starting NFL quarterback. The Cory Snyder/Joe Carter/Brook Jacoby era was fun...almost as fun as Carlos Baerga/Joey Belle/Jim Thome. Make that a decade of mediocrity.

I think San Fransisco would be a great place for Manning if Alex Smith wouldn't be opposed to it too much. Or the NY Jets. Can you imagine that cross-town rivalry?

Probably not going to be a popular response but.... I think Peyton should retire. He is 35 years old. He should quit while he is ahead. He has had some serious injuries and I think he should retire while he still has all his functions.

If Manning is close to retirement he'll go 49ers for a year then the Chiefs for a year then retire. Seems to be the norm for KC. LoL.

If he is well, he has a couple of good years ahead of him but 4 surgeries in alittle over a year in the same area to me would be a signal big time but these players have egos. I have a feeling any contract will be a pay for play type contract. They won't gamble on his cart blanch, I would think. He is really a big horse of aguy to, only he knows how healthy he is to.

I'd retire now now while I was still relatively healthy. I'm sure he's invested his money wisely and not partied it off like so many of the players do. Better to retire now than live your life in chronic pain as happens way too often. I doubt if he ends up in KC, they are still trying to get their money's worth out of Cassel.

I've been a browns fan since Otto Graham was handing the ball off to Jim Brown. Not a lot to celebrate since then. I'm one suburb south of you. My kids were Eagles.
