  • How many Khar owners also have DSLR's

Just a theory- I was wondering how many of us are not only into shooting guns, but also pictures? I have a Nikon D3000 DSLR which I love. A good photography forum is:

      Checking in.

Nikon here as well... Had quite a few over the years, but shoot with the D7000 these days, sold my D300s after getting it because it suits my needs better, high ISO quality mainly. Threw a vertical grip on it and a Bluetooth GPS for automatic geotagging as well.

What is a DSLR? Digital camera?

My only camara is my Razr:
"With camera phones all the rage these days, the RAZR V3 follows suit. As mentioned earlier, the camera lens is mounted above the external display. Users will be able to capture images at 3 resolution qualities: MMS (160 x 120 px), Medium (320 x 240 px), and High (640 x 480 px)."

        Very impressive right? LOL

I think I'm concerned about my image taking my soul or something.
Or maybe folks will figure out I should have died two or three hundred years ago...

I have a Pentax K100D. I have Pentax ZX5 35mm film camera with about a half dozen lenses I collected over the years. All of the Pentax lenses produced can be used on their digital bodies so it just made good sense to stay with them and use my new and old lenses from the 80s. I still will shoot film from time to time as I like the look of it better, but it is just easy to grab the digital and shoot.

Hassleblad, nice I do have a cheap Seagull 120 TLR if you stop it down you can get some good images. Not even remotely close to a Hassleblad, but none the less fun to play with.

I've got a Fuji something or other in 2010 as a retirement gift.

Everytime I try to decide what dslr I want, I get overwhelmed with all the info. Then 6mo. later I come back and get overwhelmed again. LoL. I need to just go get one. I've taken thousands of pics with a point and shoot over the past several years. They turn out good and all, but I need to step up my game.

                            How big is your tank?

I have 3 $$ hobbies; guns, photography, and my 75g reef tank

Photography and a reef tank go hand in hand!

we have a 55g that's about 10 years old, and we are in the process of a custom 225g build. We have the tank, stand, pump, and skimmer. I'm building the sump/fuge right now. Having to do it a little at a time.
