At 65 I'm not to concerned about surviving an Apocalypse, but it's nice to know that I chose a quality firearm to carry every day.

bog score for the little gun that can!!! Only semi pistol showed. I would have figured Glock would have prevailed. Nuttin gainst a PM9, I own one but 7 shots verses 15 is a no brainer. when apocalypse comes, I douvbt if concealment will mean jack sh-t. Stll though a nice compliment to kahr.
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

        +1 on that.
        Love my MK40.
But three 22 round big sticks and my G27 seems like a fine idea - LOL!

How many of you clicked and looked at all 8?
          Very interesting...

Looked at all eight. Not sure about two shotguns and two assault rifles unless you are equipping several people. I think a stainless synthetic 22 rifle would be a good fit; instead of a 50BMG.

Other than the AR and the Kahr, definitely not anything highly mobile there. Everything heavy but relatively bulletproof reliable. I did find the comments and choices funny thinking back to a recent thread here about 'no cleaning and lube products available'. I don't think people really consider that when they think shtf. I will definitely not rely on anything striker fired in a shtf world once the CLP runs out. Back to hammer fired semi autos and revolvers for me. Will save the cleaned and ready Kahrs, tucked in my britches for the last stand.

Then again, would it really matter. If things get that bad, that you put so many rounds thru a highly tolerant striker gun like a glock, etc...do you really care at that point. Imagine going thru 2500-5000 rounds of ammo...not sure I care what happens after that. Not sure any of my guns would quit from grime before I ran out of ammo.

              Now I am rethinking

I'm at work and under web-sense control.
Can't go to any gun related links.

Thank goodness they never heard of Kahr - LOL!

I loved the Socom, blew it last election when they doubled and tripled in price.

Got no use for a 50 unless Wyn won the lottery and sends me some.

I got most of the other bases covered.

come the zombie apocalypse, i'll stick with my 5" m&p pro and its 17 round magazines, as a backup to an ar-15, thank you very much.

you can't be reloading every few seconds while taking on zombie hordes.

That was pretty neat. For a pistol I would have guessed a Glock 19 or the 26 which would be my first choice. A pump shotgun and a rifle in .223 or .308 makes sense to me.

It will definitely do for a backup to my "battle pistol''... 13+1 XD45 + 5x13.
