This is what helps keep me in a somewhat sane state of mind. I don't nessesarly need a place to go just so long as I do go. Just following the front wheel is the best drug out there. Give me a Pennsylvania country road and I cool.

That notch in the rail is supposed to be there

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."

I turn a very high mileage 57 this summer. If I'd known I was going to live this long I'd taken better care of myself.

I'm 61. In some ways, I'm wiser and more patient. In other ways, I am more skeptical and bitter like Jeff Dunham's Walter.
                    Very interesting...

My sentiments also. Enjoyed a 280 mile ride yesterday in 90° Nebraska weather and it was great.

Also, I feel us old farts find it easier to tote our Kahrs as opposed to the full sized guns we might have carried in the past. Make any sense or should I step away from my computer and go give my rocking chair a workout?

I'm 29 and approaching 30 faster than I hoped I would lol. I think the oilfield hotshot lifestyle of no sleep, running hard, smoking, and living off of energy drinks made me feel older than I was. After I quit that job and quit smoking things seemed to have slowed down to an acceptable pace.

Yea would have been out today but got things to do around the house today and besides it's a little cold and windy. So I'll get the work done while I can and save the riding for better days when I'm really going to want to wish I got the work done when the weather wasn't so great.
