bawanna should take no back seat to any grip maker. IMO he is one of the best and for this forum HE IS ALL OURS!!!!!
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

I gotta tell ya, I had mixed emotions on how those would look on the Ruger (which I don't have sob, sob yet) but I think they look great on there.

Tie in real nice, classy and unique but not flashy. You have very good taste.

Thank you for posting the pics I was anxious to see how they look. I hope Melissa can transfer those to the website since she's so much smarter than I and calls me sugar too.

Aw shucks thanks Bawanna. I'm thinking about cleaning up the grip screws and flame bluing them. The slide lock and safety lever aren't as dark in person as they appear in the pics so I think it might look nice. If not just re-blue the screws and call it good.

Dang it I want a Ruger. That Made in the USA on the side just stirs me.

Might be too much contrast but it might look good with stainless screws too.

The dark would tie in with the controls pretty nice though.

Kind of how did you dress your gun today thing I guess. Variety is nice.

Those grips look gosh darn good!!!! I refuse to pay an extorted price for the SR1911 just because they are hard to find. When they become plentiful I will buy one. Then, I'd love to get a similar grip set.

Me either. They are really jacking them up someplaces. I'm starting to see some where they belong on gunbroker.

I was poised over the buy now button on one last week for 699 but wasn't sure I could tolerate the beating when I got home so I passed.

The shop the dept buys a lot from told me if/when they get any in I could probably get one for around 650. I'm on a list there but none in sight so far.

BWANA! That is excellent work, great looking diamond pattern. Is this a hobby or second job? Sure could be if you are that into it. I don't think my hands are that steady anymore.

Have you ever done any work in polymer? I have been thinking a set of 'pearl' grips would look nice on a K40 I have... yeah, I know, bling.

Just a hobby with me. Only polymer I've done was stippling my PM45.

I did try checkering and working with some G10 awhile back. It was tough to work with and didn't hand checker for beans. I don't know how they make them look so good. No doubt better stuff.

Bling is good. I like bling.
