  • Pm 45 still not reliable

Will send her back tomorrow because of 4 failures (fte) within 50. rounds, unacceptable! Hope this will be the last trip. Also still get brass trown at me. How many times I'll have to send it back until they'll get it right is written in the stars. Should not happen with a 700$+ price tag gun.

      Never Ever

Need column for we don't need no stinking Mother Ship.
My MK40, following a lengthy 400+ break in,
      runs like a Swiss watch.

I have seven guns and have never had to send any
      back to the Mother Ship.

My Sig Sauer P220 did take a six month sabbatical at Exeter, NH.
But the gunshop accidentally ruined the slide.
      So that doesn't count.
Plus I got a free new OEM barrel and nickel plated slide - Woo Hoo!

Couldn't vote because out of seven Kahrs, NONE have had a problem!

My gun had a few hiccups during the break in period, but a new recoil spring and some minor tweaking of my own and my CM9 is running flawlessly. Are you experiencing failures to extract or failures to eject?

Ditto~ Even as the front took a dump, and the frame needed replacement, the pistol still fired and functioned reliably and safely. Yes it had a few failures in the first couple of boxes... perfection from thence out.

Ditto~ Another, bought used and totally untested, fired, fed, and ejected perfectly, now with a bunch of rounds through it.

Ditto - Yet another (9mm this time) same thing - perfection.

Not to turn this into a expansion of your frustration, but what you're describing does in fact sound like breaking in difficulty (new springs need breaking in), coupled with not as firm a human pedestal as is required. Sometimes though, small pistols of a specialized nature just dont match up well with certain individuals. Sad fact. Could be that such is the case with your less than perfect experiences.

if this is the first50- rounds and ur having these issaues, then IMO u need to give the gunwhat the manual asks of it. 200 rounds seems to smooth out some minor teething issues. U did not state wheter this was ur first 50 rounds or what, but IMO, I think urjujping ythe gun way to faswt here if that is so. Just sayin.

Only one firearm back to the mothership and it was a Sainted Ruger. Kahrs run great.

That notch in the rail is supposed to be there

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."

Both my wives crapped out bad.
Really wanted to personally send them both back.
But figured sending them back to the Mother Ship might have been frowned upon.

What is the purpose of this poll? So far there have been 74 views and no votes whatsoever. Looks like the OP may be the only one so far to have to send their PM 45 back?
On the internet, the number of posts do not correlate to actual knowledge.
The notch is supposed to be there as well as the bulge at the front of the frame!

My used K9 none. Sent my ex wife back to mother ship and they refused delivery. Of course I left no return address.
