Beardog, that's a good working Jeep! For snow clearing, I use a Kubota or an 8n. Made some progress on that thing today, but that oil pan is sure stuck on there and there isn't much room to work a putty knife in around it. Thinking of pulling the motor. I could have already done that for the time I'm spending trying to do it in the car.

Greg, you have the coolest looking stuff. I like the look of that CJ7 especially. Yqtszhi, I'm thinking the Suburban would have been much happier for everybody with 5 traveling! DeaconKC, come to think of it, I have spent some time chasing a screw, or a pin, or other small part. Still, it's not on concrete with grease dripping all over me.

These things are nostalgic. The big old speedometer down in the middle of the dash and knobs that you pull for ventilation, heat, or defrost are very old school. The controls are like a time machine for me.

Under the car was no longer fun. I'm hauling it to a friend who has a shop.

Here it is though. Basic CJ7, 59k miles, 4.2, auto, ac. It's in pretty nice shape.

And that is the EXACT reason to keep it . You'll fit in with the survivors after doomsday hits and only rednecks and swamp people are left. My wife says you need to keep it
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

CJJohn, that is a very cool jeep. Nothing wrong with letting your inner redneck out once in awhile, especially in a fun toy like that.

Dang, that's a good looking jeep for being as old as it is. I'd buy it if I were in Washington.

I'm gonna show it to my son. We've been trying to find him a car for quite awhile, never really considered a jeep but that looks like a nice one.
Not a bad hop over the mountain this time of year either.
There isn't a reserve or anything on an Ebay option.
Wondering realistically what something like that would sell for. Lots I imagine.

Thanks for the compliments on the jeep, although its condition (other than being clean, waxed, etc.) isn't really my doing.

Bawanna, I don't really know what it is worth, but that's what Ebay is good for! No, there is no reserve. It is an absolute acution.

If you do come over, plan on a visit to the range too!

Man that thing looks nice. And those 6 cyl engines were bullet proof. I wish I was in Wash.

The 2000 Cherokee Bratmobile just turned 81,000 miles. Only one thing bugs me about it - the right rear brake clatter. Had it fixed several years ago but it just started up again recently. Great around town vehicle. Needs a new headliner and floor mats (where can I find replacements online?).

                              It's my last ride:
