  • Harley Riders, Got Pics?

I'm an avid Harley Davidson rider, so I'll start by posting a pic of my '01 Road King. The Mrs. & I love to get out & ride once the weather improves. Love to see a pic of your Harley!

For such a big bike, that's an awfully small picture. Got anything larger where we can admire the details. Great color, by the way!
It would be so nice if something made sense for a change.

I do terrible with photos. but have been riding harleys forover 50+ years. Presently own a 2010 Screamineagle streeglide, Wife rides a 2011Streetglide. Been all over the world on harleys. spent 2 weeks in Europe 10 years ago, both of us riding Harleys in 8 different countries. Follwoing year did the same thing in Spain for 2 weeks.

Have owned a half dozen Road kings like yours., great bike, Probably logged over 500K miles in all my years. today fully reitred and I do live to ride.. My best riding partner is my wife, she has been riding up front for over 20+ years and is one of the best female riders I have ever been around: Just sayin

Naturally,If I have to explain u would not understand.. Lots of harley riders on this 4um. I just donm't do photos well.

. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

O4 Road King is my choice in bikes. We've got quite a few miles together and I've owned it outright from day one and put every nick and scratch in it. Every one has a mile and a smile and a story behind it. people ask me all the time when I'm going to trade her in and get a new one. My answer is always the same. "WHY" I already own the bike I want. If someone gave me a new bike I wouldn't get rid of this bike.
It spends less time in the shop then the new ones. The last time it was in the Harley Dealer was for it's 1000 mile free oil change in 04. If I have it figured right, the Harley, Myself, and leathers all ought to crap out all about the same time. They can throw us all in the same hole.
I'm on a lap top at the moment so the pic in the avatar will have to do.

I used to run a company that supplied parts to HD and have been in every one of their plants. We were even part of setting up KC and moving some bikes from York. Although I was never bitten by the bug, it was a blast to service such a strong American brand. They do it right and put out a great product. I always liked watching a bike come off the line and how they cranked it up and ran it through the gears.

Getting ready for a ride today on my '01 FXDX-T, the rare and lovely Toursport, a Dyna which came from the factory with soft bags and a small adjustable nose fairing, along with fully adjustable suspension front and rear ... by the way, heading for Wisconsin the end of the month and will be visiting the Harley Museum ... anybody been there, can provide a review?

I'd love to shoot your Glock ... just hang it up there with the rest of the targets ... anon.

Never been to Wisconsin but have been to the York plant (birth place of my RK) many times. Don't do to many big HD get togethers anymore. For me it's a kind of been there done that. Give me some mountains to climb and a back country road to ride around on with the RK and I'm in.
