  • Rock 'N Roll fun...Not the music

    I don't know if anyone is interested, but I went machine gun shooting the other day. Thought I'd post up some videos. Click on the picture to view the video. Of course I'm rocking my Kahr T9 on my waist. Enjoy!

    Full auto H&K MP5

    Full auto Vietnam era Colt M16

    Shooting some Tannerite with an AUG

    Here's a picture I particularly liked(no video):

      Looks like a fun day.
      I've lost my memory, and I can't remember where I put it.

        Yeah, it was a good time. Hopefully I'll get to go back within a few weeks.

          I agree that's an awesome picture with the 1911. Kimber?

          Did you find it hard to just hold the trigger down on the MP5. On the couple occasions that I got to play with ours (dept guns) I just had a tough time just holding it down. They'd be telling me to dump the magazine and I was stuck in burst mode.

          The AR's want to climb on me so 3 round burst give or take was the order of the day for me. Some would lean in so far that when it ran dry they'd nearly fall on the ground.

          Great fun, hope you get back to do it again.

            The 1911 is actually a Taurus. I know I know, not the nicest. But it's my first one and it works flawlessly, so I can't complain. Plus I got it for a screamin' deal. A lot of the components have been switched out for Wilson; Pretty much everything except the frame, slide, and barrel. Those are all still Taurus.

            It was my first time shooting full auto, and I know that being 9mm I could just hold the trigger down on the MP5, but I wasn't really thinking about it. Plus, tri-round burst is just too much fun.

            In my opinion the Colt M16 jumped more than the 8 1/2 barrel M4 that I shot. No idea why, maybe it was lighter? The SBR M4 had a lot of extras on it like rails and an optic.

            I'm actually headed back there today to shoot more. There won't be a big group this time so I'll get to spend more time with the guns. I have to finish a stone patio for my mother first, but it shouldn't take too long.
