  • Doomsday planning

I wish my state would grow a pair between it's legs. The only ones to survive here will be the takers. Can we have a group hug?

Wyoming isn't too far from Oregon, but good "doomsday planning" on their part will probably account for that.

There's Idaho in between, and I think they had their own way of dealing with things.
I once went there to shoot a 3 gun match put on by some survivalist types. They designed explosive buuby trapped jungle lane walks. Their courses of fire for the pistol were all defensive, like laying on the ground as if you were knocked down, and shooting at an upright Ipsc target, then getting up and running over to the target and shoot at another target laying in the sand along side of it.That was supposed to be the BG you shot while you were on the ground. Shooting in a dark room not knowing where the target was, just hearing sound in that direction. The trick was fire the first round for effect and fire the rest during and after the muzzle flash. For the rifle stages you had to have a bayonet attached to your rifle or your pocket knife duct taped to your muzzle. Shoot and advance and stick.

I wonder if those people are all fat and flabby now.

If things get really bad, travel probably isn't an option. You might have to head that way for a vacation if things start looking dicey so you don't have to travel if they get that bad. Vacation homes in Wyoming probably aren't too expensive.

I'm sure the folks in Idaho will have their own way of dealing with things!

Don't rely on .gov to help out when things go bad, but yourself and a selected few neighbors!!!
If it's a penny for your thoughts and you offer me your two cents, what happens to the other penny? Taxes, the democrats tax everything!!
