Weird things on the Farm

Yesterday my Dog went missing, and when I went out to get the mail the mailbox door was open. It's NEVER been open like that before. No mail except for some ads was in it. Sure didn't sleep well last nite, and my dog is still gone. The animal shelter doesn't have him, didn't see any blood on the road, or see his body in the ditch or anywhere around the road. I sure hope he didn't get stolen by these jerks that steal dogs then make them fight in pits to train their pit bulls. I'm just sick about it.

No, he's just over 6 months old and hadn't got him in for his shots and stuff yet. Thanks for hoping he makes it home.

My second wife and I had a doberman named Nikki.
She was very much part of our family.
Our first Xmas we gave her a rawhide bone that she refused to touch.
I realized she noticed all our presents were wrapped and hers wasn't.
We wrapped her present.
And in a very exited manor she held it down with one paw and tore the wrapping off the bone.
Then all was well.

I hope you find your dog.

I'd call all the veternarians in your area also. Put the word out. If you have a facebook account post his picture there too. Or better yet...if you know any teenagers have them post it on their page with the request to repost. Had a friend reunited with thier pet this way.

I have a real bad feeling about this. I guess I'll go drive around see if one of the neighbors took him in or something. I'm just worried he was stolen and is gonna get fed to a pit bull for fight training. I don't want to sound racist, but it's a fact that some of the Mexicans and white trash around this area have dog fights pretty regularly. They broke up a ring a couple years ago, was almost all Mexicans mostly illegals, another ring has probably sprouted up by now. I know most Mexicans are mostly good people, but like anyone else they have their bad element too. And some of them like their dog and chicken fights. I apologise if I have offended anyone, but unfortunately that is the truth about the dog fighting ring.

I wish you good luck finding your dog. As Haven said, I'd contact the sheriffs office, any place like that. Anyone that messes with a persons dog deserves a good stiff branch and a rope.

We just busted a huge chicken fighting operation about a year ago. It was ugly. Never encountered one for dogs.

Hope he finds his way home soon. I'm ready to join the search party if you think it would help.

No, he isn't fixed yet, he is just over 6 months old, and was ready to go get his shots and stuff, I was just waiting until Spay Nueter Kansas had another signup period, where you can get them fixed and their shots at low cost.
