That notch in the rail is supposed to be there

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."
    --Thomas Jefferson (1764).

          That looks good.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

            Pretty sweet 22.
I was once asked if I was "a paranoid for carrying my Kahr".
            "Nope" I said, "just prepared".
" prepared for what" he asked?
            "more stuff than you are"

Surprisingly, even though it was made in 1953 and has been shot very little, it needed action work.

This morning I put it in the competent hands of my local gunsmith.

Very nice. A classic firearm. Although I'm not a "revolver guy", The K22 is one of very few that are in my safe. It has a really soft and smooth trigger.
Judging by today's left wing, looks like Senator Joe McCarthy was right after all.

Very nice. Enjoy I'm off to the range tomorrow with one of my friend and some of my pistols and the little 22/45 will be coming along. 22's are fun.
To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first and call whatever you hit the target.
