      Apperently the Grand Island School district does stupid RIGHT! Boy howdy.
      My Daughter teaches some sign to kids at that age level. She would just go off on that admins office.
      I got me a feeling that the good folks of Nebraska will let the school district know how to "let it be".
      I was once asked if I was "a paranoid for carrying my Kahr".
      "Nope" I said, "just prepared".
      " prepared for what" he asked?
      "more stuff than you are"

          My dear God, there is an arsehole born every minute, and they all gravitate to positions on boards, or counsels, or figures of semi authority.

                    and BTW. The school is asking a three year old to change his name?
                    On the internet, the number of posts do not correlate to actual knowledge.
                    The notch is supposed to be there as well as the bulge at the front of the frame!
                    You can't stop insane people from doing insane things by passing insane laws.

                      Every time I think I've heard or seen it all.. something even more ridiculous comes along. My daughter has just started college with the intention of becoming a sign language interpreter .. can't wait to hear what she and her teachers have to say about this.

                          Read about this yesterday, PC gone amok, yup. Thing about it though, he should be taught ASL instead of SEE. Other than that, zero tolerance means zero sense, again, still.

                          Sorry folks I saw the other one first, here's what I said there.
                          Attitude: it takes 43 muscles to frown, 17 to smile...and 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

                            The mother storms into the parent-teacher conference on the second day of school, visibly upset.

                            "Why were you saying my daughter's name wrong?"

                            The teacher rechecks her roll and repeats to the mother what is written there. "La-Sha, is that correct" she asks?

                            "No! That's wrong!" the mother says. "How else would you spell Ladasha!"
