  • First Match Win!

I've only shot 3 rimfire silhouette matches, and today I won 1st place in optics and 2nd place in irons!

Totally new at this, but it's the most shooting fun I've ever had. (Well, except for that one time with an M2 Carbine!)

I didn't shoot very well overall considering I missed way too many pig targets, the largest ones. Go figure.

Also made some embarrassing rookie mistakes like starting a stage with an empty mag.

Very encouraging and can't wait to get back to the range and practice.

The Model 41 is a dreamboat of a shooter.

(With a little help from Kerry, the match director, who doesn't enter his scores for prizes.)

Them animals is a far piece down range. Oughta have a handicap version about 1/4 that distance then maybe I could play too.

If any gun I own could do it I'd go with my 41 first too. They just are an incredible shooting machine.

My hats off to ya for hitting any of them let alone winning.

            Hey, thanks!

I did some stupid things today like knocking down the first five, then missing ALL THE NEXT FIVE! duh!

                    Yes, it can!

But, any decent .22 semi with a little trigger work is accurate out to 50 yards.

Not necessary to spend the money for a 41.

Dang! That steel looks pretty tiny at 50 yards! FUN! I bet it is rewarding when you hear it hit.

I miss compeating. Enjoy the days!
I was once asked if I was "a paranoid for carrying my Kahr".
                              "Nope" I said, "just prepared".
" prepared for what" he asked?
                              "more stuff than you are"
