This is my first post, so I'm sorry if this is in the wrong area.
I just bought an all black P380 with the tritium night sights and a Crimson Trace laser. When I draw the gun from of my front pocket the rear sight snags in the pocket of my jeans. The top edge and corners of the rear sight are somewhat sharp and that is what's catching. The gun range had a P380 with regular sights and I was able do draw that one without snagging.
Can I simply take a file and smooth the edge a little, or will that ruin the finish on the rear night sight? Any suggestions are appreciated!
FWIW - My front pocket holster hasn't come in yet so I was drawing it unloaded straight out of my jeans pocket. The holster may eliminate the issue and I don't plan on carrying it without a holster.
Thanks,
Will
