Who wants an all steel .45 Kahr, between the size of the K9 and T9? I think it would be a great seller. I'm thinking 6 round magazine capacity. I have a Glock 36 which is the only single stack (6 round magazine) made by Glock, and it is great little .45. I would just like one in an all steel Kahr. What do you all think?

I too wish Kahr offered a K45. I've owned a Colt Gold Cup (a great pistol, foolishly traded away), a Kimber CDP II Pro (too fussy during the break-in period) and briefly a SIG P220 (traded for a Colt Diamondback). Now the 45 caliber lust has struck again. The only 45 calibers left that caught my fancy were the HK45C and Kahr P45, but their plastic construction doesn't appeal to me. Am I simply too old fashioned?

A K45 would be kinda cool but for what it would cost, I think there would be better options. My K9 is a fantastic pistol, a great carry gun, is aesthetically pleasing and I would not trade it for anything. However, If I get a .45, it will probably be a Ruger SR1911. That SR1911 is one nice looking .45, the quality is great and the price point is very attractive, assuming you can find one. In other words, I think a K45 would be kind of a "nowhere" gun. I just don't see it gaining much traction but I have been wrong once or twice before.

their niche lately has been small, thin, light weight guns of sufficient power which folks can conceal easily. a K45 would not fit that mold.
I wonder does anybody have the kahr sales number (of guns and type) by the year?
my first kahrs were all steel k9 and mk9 elites they were superb guns but heavy for what i was in the need for. the poly kahrs has bloomed into a semiautonomous line for them almost redefining the company.I hate being bi-polar, its awsome!

I like the idea of a K45, but I suspect it would be a gun with a small market. The size is moving into small 1911 territory. With a steel frame, it might not compete well against alloy compact 1911s. It would be thinner, smoother, and double action, so there would be an appeal to buyers who want a steel 45 optimized for CCW. A few features that would attract individuals who did not want a 1911.Chief Administrator and CEO

I've often dreamed of an MK or a K45 but there's some good valid points brought up here. I don't think it would be a solid marketing venture. Still might be a CM45 though, that couldn't be a bad thing.http://bawanna45.wix.com/bawannas-grip-emporium#!

I think a T45 would sell by the wheelbarrow full and I'd have to have one of those for sure.http://bawanna45.wix.com/bawannas-grip-emporium#!
