    Birthday Best Wishes!

You are fondly regarded by lots of us here on the forum, Kimosabi. I regard you as an important part of my cyber family - my cyber daddy. Cousin Mikey and I owe you a steak dinner. (Of course, that and a dollar will buy you a lotto ticket.) Wishing you joys and successes in the coming year!
    Very interesting...

Thanks for the kind words. I'm happy to report that I woke up breathing and the sun is shining. Feeling kind of poorly but I'm vertical. Well vertical as I can get in a sitting sort of way.

          58. I remember clearly my dad's 36th birthday and at the time thought he was the oldest man alive. Couldn't comprehend anyone being that old.

          Funny how time changes attitudes.

Dang! You're still a youngster! Of course, I am, too... at least my mental image and my body are still holding up and not too many things are failing... that much... like my eyes, but there are compensations... my ear and nose hair are thriving... as are the boar bristles on my back! I don't know Why TF the hair on my head is vacating the center so quickly!

                  Me, too!

A while back, I told my barber to start leaving my hair long on top and in the front because I wanted a little more to work with. Still getting thinner and thinner, though.

Ear hair, nose hair and back hair thriving. My brother used to live and work in the DC area. Saw a long haired young adult guy driving a convertible on the loop road one bright sunny day, shirtless, and he had hair several inches long growing all the way down his back. Wolfman!

Who knew, Bawanna?! Guess it's all about attitude . . .

In the pictures from your daughter's wedding, you don't look a day over your officially calculated age using "Subtract each Year after 50 System" (patent pending). That would make you 42 this year.

                    Congratulations and Happy Birthday!

                          Jeeze 58....

Like you ol' man... I remember my dad's 40th, and 50th... that occuring when I was about 15 or 16.

And I look back thinking... I am older in years, but a younger person than he was at the same number of years.

Happy B-day (or is it bidet... I always get those cornfuzed)

                            HAPPY BIRTHDAY Bawanna!

I remember 36 very well. Liked to have not made it out of that one alive. Never thought I would see 40, but I did. Now approaching 47 and by God's grace I continue on. Life is what you make of it and can't be measured by the number of years. None of us know how much time we have anyway, so I make the most of every day. That said, birthdays are a great reminder of how far we have come. A great time to reflect back and then push on forward. May you have many more years to make some more great memories!
