Jocko I'm pretty sure MR Surveyor has them on his. I do know that he had a tag on the pistol stating it was a Kahr CW 9 and that it had night sites.
I didn't actually pick it up and inspect it though because I wasn't there for that , I was there for the M1. The fact that it was a Kahr just kind of caught my eye. Funny I never even saw a Kahr till I got mine, now it seems like I see more of them all the time.

Jocko If your looking for a M1 carbine I can give you the gun shops phone number, he said he had quite a few in storage. I 'm sure there not new as you would like but according to him he has them. .......... Popeye.

Your memory is correct.... I do have night sights on my CW9, but they were installed in the Kahr Shop on request... you can get the sight and mount them yourself, have a smith do them, or send the slide to Kahr and they will do the install (guaranteed to be proper installation). I don't think Kahr is making the sights available on new manufactured guns yet, but do not know for certain. The CW9 you saw most likely had the installation done after being shipped to a distributor.

Kahr offers Trijicon night sights for the cw series for $80 and they are dandys. Right now they do not offer them as a factory on the gun thing. One has to order them and install them or have kahr install them like Surveryor. My apologies to both of you two.

Kahr will eventualy make the night sights as an optional model for the cw series down the road, so I am told. When is another question...
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

            no problem Jocko

Popeye and I discussed the trij nightsights on another board last month. I'm pretty sure he understands.

Now, for a question on "New Gun".... is it legit for a dealer to ship the slide off a NIB, unissued pistol slide to the manufacturer to have an aftermarket product (in this case the Trij sights) installed, then sell as NIB.... factory warranty still initact? If Kahr did the aftermarket install, I would think they would give their complete firearm warranty, but if the dealer (or his gunsmith) did the aftermarket install would the gun still be considered "factory new" and in warranty by Kahr? Just wondering about the issue of a CW9 with night sights on a dealer's shelf offered NIB.

it should even matter. Certainly if the dealer was upfront with the sale, the warranty would not be null and void, in as much as kahr sells the sights as an accessory from their kahr store. That would not void any warranty that kahr puts in ther guns. Not like drilling or grinding or actually changing the demensions of the gun with serious modifications. Kahr would consider it a cosmetic thing. I would have thought a dealer might have just ordered the sights and had them installed locally or maybe done it himself.

I bought and had kahr install the xs sights on my P380 and I am very sure my warranty of 5 years is still valid and i hope to never have to use their warranty service either. Good guns, normally stay that way.. with no serial number on the slide itself, Kahr would have no way of knowing who put those sights on either..

Jocko, No problem here. I was just reading the tag on the pistol and what it said. How the night sights got on the gun I have no clue. I'm new to the Kahr community of pistols so I do not know one model from the other. I just know my PM9 when I see it.

Popeye, Welcome to the forum! I love my PM9 AND spinach! One of my favorite childhood heros was Popeye. Unfortunately, I turned out to look like Olive Oil, only short. Hope to hear lots from you so your avatar shows up frequently. Enjoy your new toy.

Thank you Zena. I'm certainly no hero like Popeye, but I was in the Navy.
