        Doc,

My upper body is similar to yours and I just tried my SmartCarry this way. It works! It doesn't have to be real tight because there is a thinner place just below my chest, and my belly expands below there to keep the holster in place. My CM9 seems to ride very comfortably this way. I position it higher than you do, with the end of the grip frame hiding below my man-boob for no printing under a jacket or shirt. (Is this sort of a men's FlashBang? ) I like it better than the T-shirt holster I have because the gun sits much further forward where it is easier to get at. Still not a quick draw for me, but that is often a price for deep concealment.

You know, I have spent all this money on holsters that fit on the belt, both IWB and OWB. On warmer days, I have to wear a loose, usually untucked shirt to hide them and printing is always a possibility. I think this method will work great with a T-shirt underneath a somewhat loose fitting shirt for warm days, tucked in and looking neat. I like to use Western shirts with snaps for quick access. For colder days, I can just throw a jacket over it. (I like to wear a leather jacket with just a T-shirt underneath like Fonzie. When it's not too cold, it is comfortable in or out of doors. )

Thanks for the tip! My hat's off to ya!

        John
