Folks, my skin is going to double for shoe sole leather in a few days, but... it was great. Biketoberfest that is.
The great date - ha, oh the Lord works in mysterious ways.
I'll tell the tale quickly (and post pictures tomorrow), but everyone bailed on me, which allowed me to go totally alone, and then find myself in the company of two very interesting ladies, one of which I hit it off with quite well....
Got to hear some very good music - even an AC/CD tribute band that was absolutely fantastic. Blues. Etc. Got to walk my butt off. Got to live on alcohol for three days....
T-Shirt of the Year: "I came to Daytona to drink and f--k, and I'm almost done drinkin'!"
We did have one member of the group arrested - got into a cat fight with another gal - or so I was told.
My skin toasted - even with sunblocker.
Got to ride back alongside a lone 1%'er - crawling up old lady's rear bumpers at 75mph, and doing about 105 when they moved out of the way.
