I have never been fond of an ITWB holster because they cut into my side.
Can you let me know what holster is showing in the pictures?

Have you tried the n82 holster?

I've been looking at that holster on UTube and in my favorite gun magazine. I might have to add it to the other 30 holsters under the couch. I have very few IWB so maybe the next one will be the right one.
Shot my Kahr P9 30-40 times today and still don't know if anybody makes anything better? As accurate as any gun I have ever owned.
S&W shield can't be found in this neck of the woods so I guess it will have to wait. Never owned or shot a Kahr K series so maybe that is an option?
Thanks to all for your suggestions!

I carry my CM9 in the PJ IWB Holster. I tell you the truth; that super thin, 1 ounce holster is so comfortable that it and the gun disappear from my perception. All day long. I even took a nap one afternoon and forgot I had it on. Realized it when I got up. I have to reach back there and touch the gun to confirm it is there - no kidding!
            Very interesting...

              Found a S&W Shield

              Hello again.

I bought the S&W Shield at my local gun shop after giving up on a deal at Academy Sports. After 100 rounds of hard to find 9MM rounds I haven't had any issues. The gun is very accurate and reliable so far. I have also had a chance to shoot the XDS in 45cal which was accurate and reliable but a bit too much recoil for me.
Even though the Shield has a nice trigger it's a little stiff for me(6pounds) but much better than the compact M&P. It's still not as smooth as any Kahr I own.

So back to the search for something better than a Kahr. Maybe the XDS in a 9mm?

Nah. Just wait for the new CM45 to be released late this summer. Smaller, thinner, lighter and it is a kahr!
                Very interesting...

S&W Shield, Springfield XDS or Kahr

In my opinion, you don't know how good a Kahr is until you have shot the steel ones. K9, MK9 or T9. I think everyone need one of these!

Before you give up on the Shield, install an Apex hard sear. That will bring it down to around 4 lbs.

The XDS is small in my big mitt but it would not be a range pistol for me. I see it as a CCW weapon and in that role I don't have a problem with the size. My XD's work reliably so I would trust my life to an XDS. I have a set of the old Star Firestar's in 9, 40 and 45 that take the place of a small single stack 1911 inspired pistol and so far have resisted buying a new XDS in 45 acp.

                        +1
I too feel the all steel Kahr guns are some of the their best.
                        My MK40 Elite is outstanding.
I would definitely recommend you rent a K9 or K40 before you change brands.

I prefer all steel pistols. For CC though I prefer small single stack 9mm poly pistols. So far I have not found one on the market to date that I like better than the PM9/CM9. I prefer the PM9 because of the polygonal barrel, night sights, and the fact that it's all black, but both are great CC pistols, for size over all quality, ergo's, reliability, and comfort for CC. It's size alone gives you lots of CC options. I've shot the Shield and was really not all that impressed. I turned one down when it came in. I'm not saying it's not a good gun. It seemed well made. It's just not a good fit for me. I've also shot the PPS9 and I liked that pistol quite a bit even though there is a slight learning curve with the mag release. However it's about the same size as the Shield and it is still a bit to big for my liking as an EDC pistol. I'll check the XDS9 when it becomes available even though it appears to be about the same size as the shield and the PPS9. The grip safety could be a game changer for me with that one even though it is a little bigger than the PM9. It's really going to have to be a very nice pistol for me to switch from my Kahr PM9 though. It seems like most of these single stacks are about the same size in length and hieght as the Glock 26 only there about a 1/4 " thinner. The Kahr Pm9 /Cm9's are the only small 9mm poly pistol that doesn't fit in that size group. Except for pistols costing much more.
To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first and call whatever you hit the target.

I would suggest that you first do some more exploring of the range of Kahrs before looking for something better elsewhere. Like Phil413tx said, since you don't own any of the all metal ones, you should consider trying one of those (e.g. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=334599076). And you don't own a 40 or a 45, so you could go that route as well. Unless money is no issue for you, why spend money elsewhere if you don't need to? If you still feel that the grass is greener after trying all the different Khars, then of course, you'll never be satisfied until you do.
