Man I hate to hear that...Just what we don't need, idiot jacked up bad guys with high powered rifles on the loose....I ordered a gun safe from Lowes last weekend and it will be here next week...I too hate to have to lock my guns up but trust me it's better than trying to get them back even if the Police do recover them....I spent a year and a half trying to get my stolen/recovered 1911 back from the cops only to find it was destroyed due to no owner information which was a total crock....I only hope my safe gets here before something happens again..Good luck to your friend and I hope they find and fry the scum bags that did it!!!!" They probably won't punish him. He had a bad childhood and wasn't breast fed. He just needs someone to understand his plight and give him the things he needs to succeed in life, like your and my stuff to pawn to buy meth.
It's really your friends fault for not having a several thousand dollar safe to prevent the poor guy from stealing and possibly getting in trouble with the law. I mean guns right out in the open inside your house where anyone could just take one or two or all of them. Not good.
It's really an increasing issue and totally understandable under these current trying times.
I'm sure if bummer had a son he'd look just like the fella that robbed your buddy, in fact I can almost guarantee it.http://bawanna45.wix.com/bawannas-grip-emporium#!

Yep you are colorfully saying that these j azzes make it our problem and another layer of bs that we have to deal with.Originally posted by Bawanna View PostThey probably won't punish him. I seem to be on a colorful jazzy saying roll today. We just take so much of this BS that you reach a point where you want to speak the truth and look back and see how history has handled this stuff.Originally posted by knkali View PostYep you are colorfully saying that these j azzes make it our problem and another layer of bs that we have to deal with.
This kind of stuff just didn't happen much 50 or even 30 years ago, sure some and more in some areas than others but now it happens a lot because the system lets it.
It's no longer the bad guys fault for anything. You get our car stole it's because you left the keys in it and let a good guy go bad.
Steal from your house, you might have left the door unlocked. How could anyone pass that up.
Single parents, both parents working with kids in day care, drugs, welfare, and now gay marriage and marijuana in my state, that ought to help things out a lot.http://bawanna45.wix.com/bawannas-grip-emporium#!

When I hear things like this it makes me wonder just how much gun talk is going on outside the house, to who, and where? We used to have a saying in the Navy loose lips sink ships. It will also get your guns stolen.
I have to tell you I hear it all the time, guys bragging about there guns in places they shouldn't be. What else was stolen, or were they basically after the guns. Sounds to me the way the OP wote it up is they knew about the guns if they knew they had to cross a backyard with a dog in it to get away. Surely they were not after big screen TV's. Talking about guns on the net is one thing, but talking about them in front of people who can follow you home to see where you live is another. Even when you leave the gun range or GS after you bought a gun it's not a bad idea to check your rear view mirror a couple of times. If you really wanted to you can learn alot in a GS or a range,Facebook,or better yet a bar, or social event where there is alcohol about people, what they have, and where they live. Don't think BG's are stupid there not, there just scumbags and as my detective neighbor says you have to think like a BG to stop a BG. Just saying be careful what you say, because you never know who's really listening. Darned shame his guns are gone, but it's even a bigger shame that now there is two more high capicity, high powered rifles out there on the streets.

It is for this reason and for fire protection that I am seriously looking at getting a safe. Home Depot has a 1.2 cu ft fire safe for $159 that I am looking at for my small pistol collection, my camera and some important papers. For those with more guns, more room and more money, a larger safe can be purchased for about the cost of one gun. Doesn't that seem like a wise investment?Very interesting...

you are spot on. It was an "inside" job since it was just about the guns. He has a feeling who it might have been but there isnt a damn thing he can do about it unless he does a Jack Bauer on em. I guess he too will have to get a safe.Originally posted by Popeye View PostWhen I hear things like this it makes me wonder just how much gun talk is going on outside the house, to who, and where?
