It's just beyond my ability to wrap my mind around this. Just how angry, disturbed and unbalanced does someone have to be to take a bunch of little kids out?
        So damned sad & disturbing.

That notch in the rail is supposed to be there

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."

Reports say 26 or 27 dead... 18 kids. Kids! God help us all.
Judging by today's left wing, looks like Senator Joe McCarthy was right after all.

WTF is going on, are all of the crazies coming out at once? I am just in shock that anyone would do harm to innocent little children. I hope he burns in hell forever his actions.

Absolute tragedy, which verifies why I feel better when I'm with my baby and am carrying a weapon...and will also fuel the gun control fire fire further....

This individual should have never had a gun to begin with, but at the same time he did, and therefor I wish someone else had been at the front with a gun to end this maniac before he caused the chaos he caused.

I can't even begin to fathom what the parents of any of those children are going through right now...it makes my heart ache just trying to imagine it.

Some idiot MSNBC reporter just said that the standard "clips" in 9mm semi-automatic weapons hold "Right around 20 rounds but you can easily buy larger ones."

Oh, you are watching the same thing. I of course rolled my eyes at that, but then they brought up the theatre shooting how that guy had the "extended clips".

Could these things be the Government programming people to do these outrageous things so they can push their gun control legislation? Sure makes me wonder.

Absolutely sick to my stomach. At this point, could care less what the anti-gun crowd is saying or thinking. But the news itself is almost making me unable to work, might have to bag the day and go home and stare at the wall. This is pure, unstoppable evil.

Wow. MSNBC was just talking about all the shooting, talking to Clint Van Zant and he actually pointed out the guy in China who stabbed 30some school children, saying it isn't a "gun" problem....it's a violence problem.

Obviously praying for the parents of these poor innocents.

If this is too soon, I apologize, but for the misguided souls who will conclude that if personal weapons were outlawed, these tragedies wouldn't happen, I offer the following news article: From the Hartford-Courant (CT)
