  • Official KahrTalk Pay it Forward Thread

This will serve as our official KahrTalk Pay it Forward Thread.

What is a Pay it Forward Thread? Look through anything firearm related you have and don't need anymore. List it on here with the expectation of paying shipping to send it to the first person who speaks up wanting it. De-clutter your gun, and possibly add more to it depending on what pops up.

Let's try to keep this firearm/shooting/reloading/etc related. Also, please don't just grab up everything because you're a pack rat. If someone lists "M1 Garand Clips" let someone who actually has a Garand have dibs at it. Also, don't be too much of a mooch on here. Some people will be new to the sport, and won't have much to give, and it is pay it forward, so this means you don't have to give anything away to take, but keep everyone in mind as you find stuff you don't need. Also, please keep in mind your local laws before you ask for something you can't have.

Last bit of business: Edit your listing to mark your item(s) as spoken for (but leave what you had to give people the idea) instead of creating a new post for it.

I will sticky this Thread so it hopefully will not go dormant. Enjoy!

Alright, let's see if we can get this thread back on track and going again. Quick check of the corner of my closet revealed:

Glock Mag Loader (came with a 17 "483-3")
    Vinyl Magpul Sticker
Great Big Magpul "Unfair Advantage" Poster - has a Sheriff with a SAW & Magpul Logo on one side and a picture list of all products on the other.
AR standard Trigger Guard with roll pin from CMMG Parts Kit
AR standard Pistol Grip with screw from CMMG Parts Kit
a set of M4 (Carbine Length) Handguards from M&A parts
a Gamo Air Rifle Scope - 4x20 TV WA with mounts (Came with a Gamo Air Rifle - I use the open Fiber sights)

Just chime in if you want something. You can PM me your address if you don't want others seeing it.

I've got a Desantis Nemesis hanging around here. Won't be able to sent it out until January, just too busy. But if anybody wants it, post here and then PM me. It fits the P/PM series (9, 40, dunno about a 45). Glad for it to go to a good home.

Done, PM me your address and I'll _try_ to get it out before Christmas, but if not, it'll be first of the year due to travel plans.

I bought two 7-round 1911 mags that I didn't realize stuck out the bottom of my CW45. They were $5.97 each originally, just to give them a value.

PM me your mailing address and they're yours.

I'll take them if they are for the full size (Government) model1911.

              PM also sent.

The main thing on the Pay it Forward is that there is to be no charge or money exchanging hands on this.
That is exactly why I stuck it here in the General Discussion. I don't look in the for sale section, nor would I looking for free stuff. I always check the general discussion area.

I will leave this post up for a bit, then delete it. I am also going to delete the discussions on it just so we can keep the thread pure.

Got the mags in the mail yesterday. Pouring down rain here so no chance of seeing how they work.
                          Thanks again JohnR.

Might as well unsticky this as it looks like there is not much pay it forward karma going on around here.

hmmm, wonder if any wwII buffs would be interested in my dad`s souvenir, a *** rifle, with bayonet, it`s not in very good shape, mechanically ok, re-chambered for 30-06. and the stock needs to be replaced (hacked off the end so bayonet won`t fit).
Thought about trying to sell it, but i`m sure it is not worth much.
(just been collecting dust for years).
sorry, didn`t mean to use that slang "***".
                              Negotiations are in progress.
