from what ive been told & have read, they actually made this version to be california compliant & is also happens to be mass compliant. The gun laws here are ignorant. the democratic regime in mass' government has made it so even if a handgun passes the "safety tests" it still has to be ok'd by the attny gen's office. demand for this pistol is high even out of state. some people actually prefer this vesion because of the external safety. i am looking to use this as a iwb carry and will therefore probably never turn the safety on.

With a carry permit you can carry it anyway you want. If it is used in a crime or not legal shoot and they can blame the lack of safety being on or no trigger lock you will be prosecuted.Originally posted by B18C5 Tom View PostIn states that require the external safety are you allowed to carry it with the safety off?
Serious question.

most revolvers are still ok to sell here without a safety too. they really dont say what you cant carry but they really limit what you can purchase. complete b*llsh*t! my full size carry is a pre-ban .40cal glock22 with a 15 round clip & no external safety. thats ok but for some reason a new 1 isnt? the whole trigger safety requirement doesnt even make sense in mass because all pistols not "in use" must be in locked storage or have a trigger lock on them. however a pistol being carried lawfully is considered "in-use" and can be carried without any trigger safety or lock.
