  • Sporting Arms

Has anyone ever stopped to think that at one time or another that virtually every one of our present day sporting arms was once a state of the art military weapon. The things that make you want to go hmmmm.

Yep, the Libs want to talk about an evolving or "live" U.S. Constitution, but the 2A should be fixed at muskets or muzzle-loading rifles as "state of the art" when the document was written! Citizens were not limited in their choice of weapons, but could own the state-of-the-art assault weapons carried by the military... or, superior weapons as the rifles a lot of colonists owned... with much greater range!

I discovered long ago that you can't use facts when arguing with idiots. They just ignore them.

Remember, it's not what a weapon can do that gets it on the ban list.

It is looking the same as the guns in a violent Hollywood movie that gets it on the ban list...

Scary looking guns kill people, not the wack-job using it.
I was once asked if I was "a paranoid for carrying my Kahr".
              "Nope" I said, "just prepared".
" prepared for what" he asked?
              "more stuff than you are"

I don't have any sporting arms. All of mine are for food gathering and personal protection from rabid skunks and such.

I don't even want to give these idiots that make these stupid, self serving "rules" credit for the ignorant term of "sporting arms". Nor will I use the uninformed terms "Assault Rifle" or "High Capacity Magazine (or clip, if you're one of the more ignorant uninformed)".

We've got to stop using "their" lables for things. You can't argue with stupid.

+1 I've always described the AR-15 is a paramilitary semi-automatic rifle. I never use the word assault weapon in relationship to an AR-15 or any other paramilitary semi-automatic rifle. I'm with you, mr surveyor
