No Chinesse ammo for me

Speaking of cheap ammo, I just saw a picture sent to me by e-mail that showed a S & W 629 .44 Magnum the fellow was using ammo from China. When he fired it there was an extreme loud noise and the gun hit him in the forehead. When the round lined up with the barrel went off it set the two ajoining rounds off. Kind of messed up his gun for good.
Very good advice to always use good ammo in your guns.

can't trust those chinese,now can we. bastards copy everything we make then ship it back here 10Xcheaper. They could give a rats ass if it has lead in it or not, as they know we won't do anything but say WERE ON TOP OF IT PUBLIC..

The shot fired set off the two adjacent chambers.... which would have totally destroyed the revolver.

I find it hard to believe that the shot fired set of one, let alone two other rounds, adjacent or not. I want to see the picture, and... going out on a limb, am willing to surmise that the round did NOT set off the other chambers, but blew out the its own chamber instead.

Can't happen. Chain fires only occur with cap and ball revolvers.

this is one of those internet myths that keep making the rounds. have you ever seen 44 mag ammo made in china? if you have, in what store?

and for what it's worth, I'd bet that "picture" is one of a few that have been circulating the www for 5-6 years, and the "story" has morphed quite a bit
