Thanks. I always recorded those but have switched services several times in the last year and the last few got lost.

I loved Magnum PI and I like the Jesse Stone series. I didn't watch Bluebloods, though.

Back in the early 80's we had a TDY several times and stopped in Hawaii on the way to Guam, or for a static display at the Base Air Show. My B52 crew and I were out tooling around in a Rent-a-Wreck and and passed by a strip-mall looking area where there was a red sports car on the right side of the road and on the other side was the strip mall with a crowd of people and camera equipment... we realized as we were passing by that we were driving through a film-on-location scene of the TV series Magnum P.I., which was quite popular back then!

He always carried a 1911 in his "short-shorts" and managed to pull a spare mag or two out after running a good bit... nice trick in probably beltless shorts!

Dang! They only show the ones from 2005 to 2009. I don't see the last two more recent ones... I think one came out last year... I just lost it switching to Comcast from AT&T. That's 5 "episodes" and they didn't start in order.

      2005: Stone Cold
2006: Night Passage, Death in Paradise
      2007: Sea Change
      2009: Thin Ice

From what I've heard that 1911 used in Magnum and Jesse Stone is his own personal Detonics Scoremaster.

I really like Tom Selleck and one of his best, but under-rated, was the1990 Australian western Quigley Down Under: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0102744/

There are 3 more Jesse Stone movies:

          2010: No Remorse

          2011: Innocents Lost

          2012: Benefit of the Doubt

So, I need to check out the last THREE, maybe.

Dang! We need to start a TV/Video sub-forum equivalent of the Literary Book Club! GUN-related, of course. No romances... unless there is heavy weapons use! :59:

You can always just buy the DVD's. Walmart has them online and you can pick them up at the store. They have a couple of different Jesse Stone's on the same DVD for around $5.00.

Ouch! Buy? Dang! I only blow that kind of money out the end of my barrels... a few mags, at most!

Most of the stuff I watch these days... since Blockbuster "folded"... are off my subscription TV. I can probably find some of that On Demand, too, with some free.

DVD's become a backlog too quickly... and take up a lot of space, even in paper sleeves, instead of the DVD boxes.

I had DISH up until about 9 months ago and had two USB2.0 external drives with lots of recorded stuff... HD using their external drive setup and my drives... could upload/download any DVR recordings to either drive and move it to the other DVR and do the same... much more space and accumulates a lot of stuff. All that is unwatchable now, since the data is sort of encrypted with their process to protect HD material. I'll have to re-format those drives and use them for back up or something else. Neither AT&T or nor Comcast let you pay a one-time fee and use the external drives like that. I have a 750GB and a 500GB drive, the 750GB being the upper limit allowed at the time I started.
