    Did it.
Judging by today's left wing, looks like Senator Joe McCarthy was right after all.

Have any of you received your membership packet yet? Just wondering how long it will take to process.

I haven't received mine yet. Took them a couple of weeks to even charge my card. I don't think they (or anybody) had the infrastructure in place to efficiently handle about a HALF-MILLION new members in the last 5-6 weeks. Nice problem to have, I suppose.

I would suspect the NRA is way behind in all membership stuff. Patience is golden, IMO the best money u can ever spend. if u love guns.

Even at my advanced age now is the time they need money. I did mine a couple of weeks ago during Obama's "gun violence" speech.

I just upgraded from patron to benefactor level, at a very affordable price. I don't mind giving a couple of 100 dollars to the NRA, but it's also nice when you have a little something to show for your money.

u have satisfaction CJB, what else are u looking for. I don't see the NRA backing off of congress over these stupid gun decrees. I know they have flooded my state with mail to get ahold of our legislators both house and senate to voice how we feel.

Jocko, what I meant was instead of just giving them money, getting the upgrade was nice. I think most lifers are loafers. I always tried to give a little more. I think today's transactions with the NRA was mutually beneficial.

ok, got that. I kinda figured that afterI posted it. Thats how I gotto the endowment stage. NRA had a nice offer, and eventually I willtry to get to the next stage, just becuase I do wanttyo support them. I just joined my son for live at the $300 special offer, He is 25, so he will reap that benefit just from the magazine for the rest of his life....

When I placed my order for the $300 lifetime membership, I was asked to select a magazine and told it was a one year subscription. I questioned that, and the gal said she would confirm with her supervisor. When she came back, she stated it was just a one year mag subscription.

Still waiting for a welcome package, letter, card, whatever it is that I'm supposed to receive.

I'm getting lots of emails, but nothing that specifically relates to being a member.

Anyone else been officially "welcomed" yet?

Haven't received anything, except the CC charge. I did however go on the Membership site and noticed I am being carried as a Life Member. That's different.

I suppose I'll receive a packet of some sort. Likely a beg letter from Wayne too.
